If you are applying for an WTID for the first time make sure
you select World Tennis Masters WTID not the pro tour WTID
costing $70.The World Tennis Masters WTID is FREE to obtain
and must be renewed each year for no charge by logging into
our account on WTID and following the renewal steps at the
top left of your profile.
When you enter a masters tournament an WTID fee is payable
US$12 either on entry or collected by the tournament as part
of their entry fee.
A valid active WTID is needed to enter World Masters tournaments.

 

                         Tips  -  WTID entry issues
 

Entry Problem:  The WTID site advises you are ineligible
when you try to enter any event.


Solution : Your WTID has to be renewed. Check your profile and
check your subscriptions to see when your WTID expires. You can
renew your WTID 2 months before this date. If the tournament you
are trying to enter is held after your expiry date you will have to
wait until 2 months before your expiry date then renew your WTID
and complete your online entry.

 

WTID Fee Issue:
This issue was partially resolved on Feb 12 2026.
In MT400 MT700 MT1000 tournaments the WTID
fee is paid via World pay when you initially enter on WTID.
In some cases if you then go back to enter an extra event
or change an event or enter a partner you are asked to
pay the USD$12 WTID service fee again. This only appears
sometimes if you are adding an extra doubles or mixed to
your existing entry.

Solution1: If you are adding a doubles try asking your partner
if they can add the pairing on WTID without being asked to pay
again.

Solution2: Email the World Tennis at masters@world.tennis 
with your worldpay receipt for the US$12 and indicate details
of the event you are trying to add. The World Tennis office will
add this extra entry manually to the WTID site.

Note - In MT200 tournaments and below the WTID Service fee is
collected as part of your entry fee payment. Check the fact sheet for
the entry fee payment site.

 

Doubles Problem : The WTID site advises your partner is
ineligible when you try to add them with their WTID.


Solution : Your partner has to renew their WTID by logging into
their own WTID and in their profile follow steps to renew WTID. 
Once this is done you can add them as partner with their WTID.

 

Doubles Problem :* Trying to add a partner with their WTID
and you are told they are already entered when they are not.


Solution 1: Ask your partner to enter the doubles and then in
partners click ADD and then click Select from pool and confirm.
Then you can login to WTID  enter  the doubles and add them
as your partner with their WTID.

Solution 2: You enter the doubles and then in partners click
ADD and then click Select from pool and confirm.
Then ask your partner to login enter the doubles and add
you as their partner using your WTID .
 

:* The above issue typically occurs when your partner has already entered
some events in the tournament and then you are adding another doubles.

Issues with your World Tennis Tour Zone password, subscription, or email address

If you are having trouble accessing your World Tennis Tour Zone account or need to
update account details, please review the options below:

  1. Incorrect/Forgotten password: Go to your World Tennis Tour Zone account here.
     Select ‘Reset Password’ and you will be able to reset your password. Please note
    this must include 8+ characters and contain 3 out of 4 of the following:
    lowercase characters, uppercase characters, digits (0-9), and a symbol.
     If you do not receive the email, please use a different browser for this process.

 

  1. Unknown or different email address: If you no longer have access to the email
     linked to your Tour Zone account or are unsure which one was used,
    please email masters@world.tennis  with the following:

 

  1. Expired World Tennis ID: If your World Tennis ID has expired, you will not be
    able to log in. You can renew your World Tennis ID within 3 months of the
     expiry date via the World Tennis Tour Zone website.  If you have not logged
    on within 3 months, please email masters@world.tennis 

 

Steps for renewing your World Tennis ID 

    1.  Login to your World Tennis Tour Zone
    2. Go to ‘My Profile’
    3. Click ‘Subscriptions’
    4. Select ‘Renew Tours’
    5. Select the ‘World Tennis Masters Tour’ option

 

  1. Signed up to the wrong tour: If you have mistakenly registered for the incorrect
    tour (e.g., Wheelchair, Pro, or Beach instead of Masters), please email
    masters@world.tennis with your World Tennis ID and we will update your
    tour accordingly.

You are not required to undertake Academy Courses & Modules on the
Masters Tour. If you are being asked to do these, you have likely signed
up to the wrong tour. 

 

  1. Incorrect personal details: If your account shows incorrect personal informatio
    n (e.g. nationality, name, or date of birth), please email masters@world.tennis with:

    

    7. World Tennis ID fee refund: The fee will only be fully refunded to a player that
 withdraws from a Tournament prior to the Withdrawal Deadline. If you withdraw from
 a MT400, MT700, MT1000 or World Championships tournament, you can request a
 refund of the fee. You must include the IOS Payment Code from the automated email
receipt for us to process the refund. Refunds can take up to 5-7 working days to be processed.

 

    8. Removal of ranking points: If your rankings have been removed from a World
Tennis Masters Tour tournament, this may be because you conceded a walkover in the
 draw. Points are automatically removed from a player’s profile if they withdraw without
a valid reason for withdrawal. If you have proof of an injury, illness or other valid reason
for withdrawal, please send this to us so that we can reinstate your points.
