Last year tennis for the first time in David Mabon won the Hay sportsperson of the year award. David has again been selected as the tennis club nomination for the contest. In 2007 he successfully defended the club singles and performed well in the Hay Open Tournament. His success out of town was good particularly around Southern NSW and country Victoria.
