CAT for Windows Version 5
Adjusted Version 5 upgrade
Problem: When accessing Player Entries CAT indicates there is a database problem with the file catpi.mdb and it is either missing or corrupt. Then in some case the only way out is to restart the system.
Explanation: On some older systems Windows 98, 95 there are currently issues related to the Jet Database engine. This download is installed as one of the steps in the standard installation. On 2000 or XP systems with Office and the latest internet explorer installed these problems are not evident.
Fix - Download both A and B below
Download A - Re-install of original catpi.mdb file from CAT Version 4
Download the above file catpi.exe then double click to unzip the attached file catpi.mdb replacing the existing file in your cat tournament folder.
Download B - Latest CAT Version adjusted for compatibility with Version 4.
Download the above file installcatwin2004B.exe then double click to extract a new program file to c:\Program Files\cat - The password is the same as for the standard version.
